Based in Nashville, Bake it Books is dedicated to expanding the love of reading and the confidence of baking for children and families.
Hi, I'm Kathleen, the creator and founder, as well as an avid book lover, hobby baker, and homeschool parent. The idea of Bake it Books started out of my oldest son's love for baking in the kitchen at the very young age of 2, and my knack for turning our daily book readings into fun and quirky baking themes.
We've shared our baking adventures for many years and the most common response I get is, "I wish I had the confidence and patience to bake with my kids!"
Each of our boxes comes with pre-measured ingredients for the very reason of simplifying your time in the kitchen. Teaching a child to properly measure ingredients certainly has its place, but my goal is to first make baking EASY and FUN so you'll want to do it again and again! My hope is for positive family memories and confidence to be created, without the overwhelming thoughts of a messy kitchen.
